Booking Information
To confirm a tour, safari, trekking experience or other travel service, customers are required to provide the necessary booking details and make the applicable payment or deposit communicated at the time of booking.
WHM AND AABM TOURS AND TRAVEL LIMITED will confirm the booking after the required payment has been received and availability has been confirmed.
Customers are encouraged to book in advance, particularly for gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, accommodation and other activities with limited availability.
Prices may vary depending on travel dates, group size, accommodation category, permits, activities and other services requested.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Customers who need to cancel a confirmed booking should notify WHM AND AABM TOURS AND TRAVEL LIMITED as soon as possible.
7 days or more before departure: Cancellation requests may be considered for a refund, subject to any non-refundable costs already incurred.
Less than 7 days before departure: Refunds may be reduced or unavailable depending on payments already made to hotels, transport providers, parks, activity providers and other suppliers.
Within 24 hours of departure: Cancellations are generally non-refundable because arrangements may already have been confirmed and paid for.
No-show: Failure to appear for a confirmed trip without prior notice will generally be treated as a cancellation and may be non-refundable.
Refund Policy
Refunds are considered according to the amount actually recoverable from service providers and suppliers.
Certain costs may be non-refundable, including where applicable:
• Gorilla trekking permits
• Chimpanzee trekking permits
• Park or activity fees
• Hotel or lodge cancellation charges
• Transport or vehicle cancellation charges
• Airline or ticketing charges
• Other supplier fees that are non-refundable
Where a refund is approved, WHM AND AABM TOURS AND TRAVEL LIMITED will communicate the applicable refund amount and processing arrangements to the customer.
Changes to Bookings
Customers who wish to change their travel dates, number of travelers, accommodation or activities should contact WHM AND AABM TOURS AND TRAVEL LIMITED as soon as possible.
Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges or cancellation fees from service providers.
Company Cancellation
If WHM AND AABM TOURS AND TRAVEL LIMITED is required to cancel a trip due to circumstances within the company's control, the company will communicate the available options to affected customers.
Where cancellation is caused by circumstances beyond the company's reasonable control, such as weather, government restrictions, park closures, security situations or other unforeseen events, the company will work with the customer and relevant suppliers to determine the available alternatives or recoverable refund.
